Semi_hypertext is a type of hypertext distinguished from full_hypertext by the nature of its links. In semi_hypertext the links are unidirectional and univisible. This means the links are only visible in the document from which they originate. Semi_hypertext is what is used in the world wide web and is a major reason why the web has only brought about a small revolution in critical thought, not one which is huge.
